Finally, the voice of the people shall be consulted on the Dog successfully passes control to the Bill, the Committee stage, UK

More than 10 000 people called it; the country's leading animal welfare and veterinary organisations, charities and local authorities fought it; the members of the House of Lords, and supported it, when they voted to move the Lord Redesdale dog control Bill in its final stage in the Lords.

Bill of materials (BOM) intends to replace the dangerous dog legislation failed in the new law, to repeal the breed specific legislation on Dog control detects and applies to public and private places. According to the dangerous dogs Act built a Study Group (DDASG), Dog Control Bill continues its path through the legal system were accepted by the Lord Rupert Redesdale as the private members Bill in 2010.

In support of the Bill, DDASG, launched the petition, which has now received more than 10 000 signatures.


DDASG believes that the deed was not, in principle, the representative of the breed, animal welfare, local authorities and the veterinary professional organisations, which include information on: dogs in the Home, the Blue Cross, British Veterinary Association, dogs trust, Mayhew Animal Home Kennel Club, the Royal College of Veterinary SurgeonsWandsworth Borough Council and Wood Green animal shelters.
